For National Asphalt, the aim was to visually communicate precision, endurance, and the demanding environments these road construction materials are built to withstand.
Handling both capture and cut, I paired on-location footage with select archive material to ground the manufacturing process inside its real-world context. The edit relies on clean movement, framing, and visual continuity to fuse these distinct sources into a single, seamless narrative.
Sound design carries equal weight in the piece. Natural production audio, ambient texture, and tactile sonic cues were built directly into the rhythm of the edit, giving the visuals a distinct weight and physicality. The result is a precise, grounded piece that mirrors the engineering and integrity of the mixes themselves.
